My favorite comedians
Hello everyone!
Today I will be talking about my favorite comedians. I feel like comedy is an element that everyone desires to have in their lives. When I am personally upset about something, I usually like to put on my favorite comedy show and laugh away. This allows my brain to lighten up and realize not everything needs to be so serious. This makes my mood happier and allows me to get back to work in a more positive way.
I have a tie between my 3 favorite comedians.
1) Louis C.K
2) Bill Burr
3) Chris D'Elia
Louis C.K is my all time favorite comedian as I have been following his stand up work for a long time. About 2 years ago, I had the opportunity to see him live in downtown Toronto at the Royal Massey Hall. It was amazing to see him perform completely new material as I believe he is a comedic genius. His humor might not be for everyone as it can get very dark and explicit. However, I think his humor has a lot of intelligence to it as many of his jokes are lessons he's teaching himself. I like his comedy as he was able to use it and make his very own TV show. Louie is the name of the TV show and be sure to watch it if you like dark and awkward comedy.
Bill Burr is my second favorite comedian because his style is a little different than Louis'. Burr is angrier with his comedy and likes to relate everything to his old age (he's only 50 years old). I like his humor because just like Louis he is able to relate everything and have a message along the way. His humor is more straightforward and almost anyone can enjoy. It's more general humor although it does have the ability to become dark easily. I like his style of comedy because he has great timing and his improvisation is great. He has the ability to make entire jokes on the spot.
Lastly, Chris D'Elia is my third favorite comedian. I love Chris D'Elia's comedy because it's very silly and involves a lot of funny faces and noises. He is very graphic with his comedy and so if he is talking about dancing, he will definitely take the opportunity to dance along the way, I like that about him because he is not scared to express himself. I love his style of comedy as it is so different from the other two. Apart from his stand up routines, he has his own podcast which he uses to talk about almost anything. I like to listen to that podcast because it allows me to follow his day to day life being a very big fan of his.
Hope you enjoyed reading this! Be sure to follow these comedians for a big laugh :)
